NEW YORK, September 10, 2023 — Today, National Debt Relief, the industry leader in debt settlement known for its Whole Human Finance™ approach to debt relief, is proud to announce its scholarship program, which awards $15,000 in educational scholarships to three deserving students. The scholarship program was launched in honor of National Debt Relief’s commitment to relieving the burden of debt and empowering people to build more secure financial futures.
Recognizing the challenges faced by students grappling with the rising costs of higher education, National Debt Relief is determined to make a positive impact in their lives. By offering these scholarships, the company aims to provide students with the necessary resources to pursue their educational aspirations without the added worry of debt.
“National Debt Relief is dedicated to giving people resources and guidance that help them build a more secure financial future. We recognize the financial hardship people often face when trying to further their education, and the burden the incurred debt can become on their lives,” said Jeff Biesman, Chief Marketing Officer at National Debt Relief. “People shouldn’t feel limited or distressed in their pursuit of better opportunities. By offering these scholarships, it’s one way we can further our cause to create a world where debt is no longer a source of stress and anxiety, and these students can focus on their degree instead of their debt.”
The scholarship application period for 2023 concluded in May 2023 and was open to all undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. degree-seeking students who are currently enrolled or enrolling in college for the Fall semester of 2023. Students submitted an essay and video entry, which went through an internal evaluation process to select three award recipients. The winners were:
- Angelique Scoboria, who attends the University of St. Augustine, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Alina Ruiz, who attends De Anza College, and is pursuing a major in Business Administration
- Brittany Moffett, who attends Goldfarb School of Nursing, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In addition to the scholarship money, which will be divided amongst the three winners, the recipients will also receive benefits designed to enhance their financial and overall well-being. These include complimentary access to National Debt Relief’s award-winning debt relief program, a subscription to Headspace’s industry-leading app, offering personalized mindfulness and meditation content, and access to Know Yourself, Grow Your Wealth® a comprehensive financial wellness certificate program from The American College of Financial Services.
